Sarah Green

Sarah GreenSarah is the owner and founder of Mutleys. She is a member of the Association of Pet Dog trainers (APDT)*, and has been assessed by them and works under their code of conduct to ensure all methods used are fair and gentle and no harsh or punitive methods are used.

Sarah has owned and lived with dogs since she was 12, getting her first Springer Spaniels of her own in 2000 and 2001. Sarah has also owned a Working Cocker, Ellie, who lived to be nearly 14, and has a 13 year old Lowchen called Taya. She has been working with dogs for 18 years having found a love for training and an understanding of them through owning her own dogs.

Sarah originally completed a degree in Psychology, which gives her a good basis for working with people and understanding how people learn. She then trained in Canine Psychology through the Animal Care College at Ascot, an established organisation with Accreditation through the Open College Network.

It is important when training dogs that the owners understand the reasons behind the methods used, with a good background in communication and working with a wide range of people Sarah has developed her training classes to ensure the knowledge of the trainer is passed on and understood to the owner, to enable them to continue the training when out of the classroom.

Sarah is keen to develop further and continue training to stay up-to-date with new ideas to enable her to share this with the owners of the dogs she teaches.

Small classes, a friendly atmosphere and lots of reward-based hard work have made this a weekly experience my baby pug Eddie and I look forward to. Highly recommended.
The puppy classes with you have been a complete success right from the off. You were recommended by a few people and have not disappointed.
