Puppy Plus

For dogs that have completed a Puppy course either with us or elsewhere to continue their learning. This may also be a good place to start your training with an older dog that needs an update or just wants to come along for some fun training with there owner to build a good bond. All dogs must be friendly with other dogs and people to attend.

These sessions are all about having fun with your dog, building a great relationship and trying out new ideas including bits of scent work, fun tricks and parkour (depending on venue).

Exercises covered include:

  • Self control exercises around play

  • Increased time on a stay/wait with nice manners

  • Recalls with distractions

  • Safety – doorways, vehicle entry and exit

  • Stop

  • Further lead walking

  • Send away to bed or target

  • Tricks, including those with props (hoops, sticks)

  • Stays with distractions

  • Off lead walking to heel including a recall back to heel

  • Emergency stop

  • Find and scent exercises

  • Manners around food item

  • Doggy Parkour
